writing a Curriculum Vitae

I'm preparing my CV and i'm not sure how to order things. I need it to apply for fellowships. Thoughts?

I only know that publications are supposed to be at the top of an academic CV. Well, education... then publications - peer-reviewed publications that is... then conference presentations... then committees and services... urg. i don't remember.
