Hello all, this is my first post here.
I'm an ABD in a scientific discipline. Most of my graduate work has already been published as conference papers. I hoped I would be able to copy and paste my conference papers together and turn it in as my thesis but my advisor thinks differently. :eek:
Anyway, other that basic stylistic stuff, how do you go from a conference paper into a thesis chapter (short of rewriting the whole thing?) What differences are there? Cumulatively, my conference papers basically are my thesis but I'm just not quite sure what I have to change to make them read like thesis chapters.
