Default MA in History - previous education not in history...

I'll try to keep this short and to the point as best as possible.

I possess a BA in English and a (soon to be) MBA. I want to pursue another Masters in History at the University of Missouri. My GPA for my MBA is well above any requirements offered to get into the University of Missouri. I have extensive work experience as a technical writer and am 25 years old. My interest in pursuing a second Masters, but in History, stems from a personal love of the subject and a need to challenge and prove something to myself. Here are my questions:

1.) Any thoughts, opinions, advice pertaining specifically to the University of Missouri with regard to its History program?

2.) Will letters of recommendation from employers work as effectively as those from previous professors? I can obtain both if necessary.

3.) Is it viable to work full-time while attending evening courses to complete a Masters in History? I'm confident I can obtain exceptional employment, and would prefer to do both despite the obvious challenge involved.

4.) Based on my short information above, do you see any apparent disadvantages or advantages with regard to the application process of graduate school in Missouri?

Thank you for your time. I apologize if I've overlooked other potential threads; I'll continue researching this site for answers as well.

Yikes, no feedback at all? I either worded my approach poorly or portrayed the wrong impression.

Nah, violin, you're fine some people just check into the forum every few days i guess

anyway, I cna't answer all the specifics about u of missouri but i'd say that it sounds like you've got a really good shot at getting in. Letters of recommendation from professors will in your case be stronger than from employers. I'd go that route if you can.

As far as working, i know many people who work part time and noone that works full time. But i'm sure it can be done if you are very organized. Do you have to work? it may take you lnger to finish the degree...

I wouldn't work if I could help it, but given my current experience I'll be able to bring in a higher income than my wife who works in the sciences. Thanks for responding...I was starting to worry that no one had anything to propose to me.

What do you want to do career-wise when you're done?

I'd like to get involved in historical research and/or museum studies. These seem to be the most likely at least.

Overall I enjoy historical research, so something involving that would be nice.
