Default Anyone live in Washington D.C.??

i'm planning on moving there soon and i'm curious to know what others think of the city. i don' t know anyone who lives there.

I just went to Washington D.C. for the first time and it was really a wonderful city! I can absolutely see going to grad school there. Georgetown is right in the middle of the city, seems safe and very near to the metro. The metro will take you anywhere into the suburbs and throughout the city. I'd totally go there.

I just went to Washington D.C. for the first time and it was really a wonderful city! I can absolutely see going to grad school there. Georgetown is right in the middle of the city, seems safe and very near to the metro. The metro will take you anywhere into the suburbs and throughout the city. I'd totally go there.

If you live in DC, you might want to apply for a job for USDHUD (United States Department of Housing and Urban Development)

or with USDA (United States Department of Agriculture) there is a rural development sector that my father works for

being in DC, your best bet is a gov't job..
