Default Another question re presenting at conferences

I am presenting a paper at a conference in two months, which is based on a chapter from my masters thesis (so I know the material back to front). However, I have never attended a scholarly conference before (!) and don't know what to expect, other than that my presentation is to be 20 minutes and the paper is due two weeks beforehand.

Am I expected to use visual aids like powerpoint if possible (this is a History conference, involving no use of data etc)? How agressive can I expect questioning to be afterwards (this is not a graduate conference, its a scary international scholars conference)?

Any other tips?
