So, what do you think?
I've just begun my third and final year studying Sociology & Political Science here in Israel (BA).
I have a relatively poor GPA - 3.57 (actually - 89 out of 100), although since everything works differently with the grades here in Israel, I'm not sure they're gonna take the GPA into consideration.
I received 660 Verbal & 740 Quant. on the GRE, and with English not being my first language, I wonder if that gets considered when evaluating the score I got.
Other than that, I don't have too much to offer, since I'm still studying for the BA. I wrote for my school's weekly magazine for a year, and was filmed for almost a year as part of a documentary concerning a highly publicized social activity here in Israel.
I intend on applying for a PHD in sociology to Columbia, Yale, UC-Berkeley & UW-Madison. Is it too presumptuous? Is it too early? Do I have any chances at all?
I know my chances are very, very low. However, does being a foreign student give my any chances at all?
