I am a Sri lankan student and I want to get in to a graduate school to study mathematics. I am in my fourth year of study currently. I am a major in mathematics at the colombo university, in srilanka. My current GPA is arond 3.00 and by the time I gradute (In about 6 months) my GPA will be not more than 3.20.
I want to study pure mathematics. I am confident that I can score well at the GRE subject test in mathematics. (about 700) What chances do I have for addmission? What schools should I apply to? In what grad schools do I have a realistic chance of addmission |

Don't you think people always expect too much from asian students who want to go to U.S.?I mean, I got a 72 percentile in gre math subject, and it is the lowest score among everyone I know on the famous forum of my country. COME ON! It is not that low! And I am not even going to study pure math! What goes wrong with this world if I had to be ashamed of being 72% in math subject!? My advice for you, do not take subject test if you cannot compete with your fellows in this test, I mean, your compatriots.
